*NEW* Rose Hips Seed Oil (rosa musquee): Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Not only is it moisturizing, but it contains Oil Soluble vitamin C, which is why it is so good at helping the integrity of the skin, but also helps greatly with scars, especially acne related scars. Rose Hips has some of the highest levels of vitamin C which penetrates deeply in the skin as it is in an oil form. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties as well as vitamin A. It is also high in GLA, gamma linoleic Acid, an omega fatty acid that protects the skin barrier. The main bioactive component is all trans-retinoic acid, a precursor to vitamin A. the high amount of this, tretinoin, is responsible for making this oil especially good at repairing depleted and scarred tissue.

Peony: It has been used for Centuries and known as “The King of Flowers” named after the Greek God of healing, Paeon, the physician to the Gods. Peony boosts microcirculation while cooling the blood making it good for skin rashes, rosacea, and inflammation. It also has astringent properties and is known as a Yin tonic, thus helping to restore youth to the skin. Paeoniflorin, one of the main components of peony, has been shown to inhibit excess testosterone so it might have a beneficial effect on menstrual cyclic acne and female stress acne. Paeoniflorin has antioxidant properties similar to vitamin E and prevents lipid peroxidation in the epidermal cells for healthy skin.
Chinese Licorice: It is one of the oldest remedies in history and called the “king of natural medicines.” Recognized for its benefits in brightening the skin and its ability to even out skin tone, making it especially treasured for its beautifying effects. Calendula: One of the oldest herbals for the skin, much of the healing properties of Calendula are due to the high levels of carotenoids (vitamin A like compounds). Because these are oil soluble, and contain oil soluble sterols, they can help plump the skin and smooth out wrinkles. It also has a skin soothing effect making it good for dermatitis.
Almond, Apricot, and Jojoba Oil: replenish natural oils in the skin. These are very light oils which penetrate deep into the skin to soften dry skin. These oils were chosen as they will not leave a greasy film on the top of the skin and are all hypoallergenic. They also will not aggravate acne.
Aloe Vera 200:1 concentrated extract: This is a medicinal grade extract providing exceptional nutrients, trace minerals, and unique polysaccharides that have extreme skin healing benefits.
